Ciara O’Hara graduated in 2006 with a BA in
Fine Art Print and History of Art from NCAD, she also has an MA in Cultural
Policy and Arts Management from UCD. Her first solo exhibition was held at Talbot Gallery, Dublin in October 2012. Since 2006 Ciara has exhibited extensively
in galleries such as Draiocht, Galway Arts Centre, The Cross, Adams
Auctioneers, the RHA, the Talbot and the Stone Gallery. Her work has been shown
within the Central Bank Dublin. Ciara also regularly exhibits with the Graphic
Studio Gallery.
In 2008 Ciara traveled to Toronto, Canada where she worked with Open Studio printmaking studio as part of her MA studies. In 2009 Ciara undertook SIM and NES artist residencies in Iceland and has exhibited in Reykjavik and Skagaströnd. Her work is part of the Office of Public Works, Newman House UCD, Town of Skagaströnd Iceland, and several private collections.
In 2010 she co-founded a collaborative artist as curator collective with painter Anne Hendrick. She is a member of Graphic Studio Dublin and Ormond Studios.
